Here is a short questionnaire used by many to evaluate an individual's use of alcohol/drugs. The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test or AUDIT and others have been developed by the World Health Organisation and are used by doctors to assess the extent to which a patient is likely to need to make some changes in their drinking to avoid health problems.
A single unit of alcohol is half a pint of average strength beer or lager or one glass of wine or one single measure of spirits. A can of high strength beer or lager may contain 3-4 (+) units.
Note: If you scored between 8 and 10 or more, it may be worth consulting your doctor or a specialist in the field of alcohol treatment to talk about drinking behaviour
